Calicut International Airport (CCJ): Located about 90–100 km away. This is the most common entry point for those heading to South or Central Wayanad (Kalpetta, Vythiri, Sulthan Bathery). The drive takes roughly 2.5 to 3 hours.
Kannur International Airport (CNN): Located about 70–95 km away. This is the best option if you are staying in North Wayanad (Mananthavady, Thirunelli). It offers a smoother, less congested arrival experience compared to Calicut.
Mysore Airport (MYQ): Located approximately 130 km away. While it has fewer flights (mostly domestic from Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad), it is a viable entry point for those coming from the Karnataka side.
2. By Rail (Nearest Railway Stations)
Since there is no railhead in the hills, travelers must deboard at the base and take a scenic uphill drive:
Kozhikode (Calicut) Railway Station (CLT): The primary rail link, about 85–110 km from Wayanad. It is extremely well-connected to major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, and Kochi.
Kannur Railway Station (CAN): About 115 km away. Convenient for travelers coming from North India or Mangalore who are heading toward the Mananthavady region.
Mysuru Junction (MYS): About 130–140 km away. This is a popular choice for travelers from Bangalore or those looking to combine a trip to Mysore with Wayanad.
3. By Road (The Most Popular Mode)
Road travel is the soul of a Wayanad trip, featuring some of the most scenic mountain passes in India.
From Calicut: You will travel via the Thamarassery Churam (NH 766). This stretch is famous for its 9 hairpin bends, offering breathtaking views of the valley below.
From Mysore/Bangalore: You typically enter via Gundlupet, passing through the Bandipur National Park or Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary.
Note: There is a night traffic ban (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) through the forest stretches on NH 766 to protect wildlife.
From Kannur/Thalassery: Access is usually through the Nedumpoil Ghat or Periya Ghat, which are lush and less crowded.

The maintenance and upkeep of the farm is done by TGG Foundation, and it also conducts Experiential Learning Programs.
